I write this in a state of disarray so I can only apologise for the tone used. However I feel unable to allow this to blow over.

Ever since passing my test all of my automobiles have displayed (including our TV featured race car) a 3.5" PH sticker on the rear. I judder to contemplate the sum spent to do this, however as the forum has always been a place of sanctuary and happiness this has been accepted and I have moved on with my life.

Recently I have arranged a purchase of a Mitsubishi Evo 6 Tommi Makinen Edition to run alongside my PH stickered GT86. With a friend (bicyclehorts on here, who I trust won't be upset about being included in this misery) would also like to sticker his R32 GTR and Altezza fleet.

Upon loading shotdeadinthehead.com I was pleasantly enriched to find an offer of 99p for the aforementioned product. Fantastic, result, great news. A message was sent to him to confirm colour choice, and it was selected we'd order 3x black and 1x white.

However unfortunately this is where the issue lies. It appears this offer is for ordering 1 sticker only, fine, until you find the postage (for essentially a piece of paper is £2.99). No bother this can also be stomached.

Then the horror started.

When upping the quantity of products in the checkout, it turns out this 99p offer only applies to the first sticker ordered. The following 3 are processed at £2.99.

What the juddering fk Pistonheads? Not only am I happy to pay you to advertise your website. You're allowing me to be bent over with such violence George Michael would be creaming.

The total price for 4 fking stickers delivered to my door is £12.95, or £3.2375 each. Hardly comparable to 99p.

I'm fking outraged at this fking ripping off bd wkface features that want to get away with this.

Honestly it's fking me right off to the point I'm putting my purchase on hold until someone sorts this out. Otherwise I'll be looking forward to my fking Drivetribe stickers to arrive.

fkwits.

Because then unfortunately I pay £2.97 for 3 stickers and £8.97 to post them.

Hi em177,

Firstly, I'll try my very best to ignore the rather aggressive post and name calling...

The £2 which is discounted is for sticker only orders and is a fixed price applicable to however many stickers you order. I imagine it is to make up for the postage price on such a small item, therefore the usual price of £2.99 is applied to the rest.

Thanks,

Jack
Hi Jack,

I see you're new around here...

I can only apologise if you read my post without the sarcastic in which it was written... although congratulations you have lost your PH rant woosh parrot virginity. Usually at this point the rant is scored out of 10. However I shall gloss over this in fear of mere 5 or below.

As mentioned if I buy one sticker at 99p and pay the postage. I don't feel I should then have to pay and extra £2.99 to add the same item to your order. Surely it'd make more business sense to promote bulk buying especially in a singular delivery. Rather than a series of individual purchases. It seems I'm being punished for trying to save postage and paper.

After a marathon of catching up on David Attenboroughs fantastic Series; Planet Earth II. I am subsequently fulfilled with a feeling of saving our precious plant, and its resources from such terror as deforestation. I don't want my purchases to effect the Capuchin Monkeys losing their home in the rain forest because some jackass at UPS needs an extra envelope to post my 3.5" PH stickers individually.

All seems somewhat silly don't you think?

Regards,

EM177

  • Edited to add I will happily purchase 4x 3.5" Stickers from your website at £6.95 (99p each).

I've added a screenshot below for reference:

- Firstly £2.99 postage seems a lot
- Secondly to give 1 sticker for 99p and then £2.99 after that seems a bit inverse? I understand the logic of a 'buy 2 get one free' offer or similar, thus promoting the consumer to save more by purchasing more. However in this case I save less by ordering more. Seems strange?

So it be onto this for you to listen to some scroungy Scottish bloke trying to save a few quick on some stickers.
