You have taught me why the Carrera weighs so much despite being made out of such light material.....it is that giant space ship looking transaxle.

The weight of this giant ship is 60 Kg its even lighter than an G50 and has no much overhang behind the axle meaning less polar movement

The big area is just an oil tank and can be cut off instead of that can make use of a external oil supply and cooler

You dont need to flip it this transmission is at the back of the engine noit like the porsche 911
this transmission is more like the Mclaren F1 roadcar they also used a transvers transaxle

The centre of the driveshaft to the front of the housing is quite similar to the G50 approx 21 - 22 Cm
