Looked out the window this morning and saw the roads were bone dry, so decided today was a really good day to give the Can Am a run and blow out the cobwebs - between last minute Xmas shopping! Managed to add about 20 miles onto the odometer along the M27 - with the soft to off (of course), before returning back home. I'm still in my first year of ownership and hate the idea of hibernating the car through the winter. I've always ran my previous TVR's every 3-4 weeks between late Oct and March whenever there was a break in the weather. Living on the South Coast helps, but leaving a car sitting over winter without regularly running it up to temperature or rotating the wheels can't do them any good, so I definitely intend to do the same with the Ultima (so long as the roads remain unsalted). It was interesting to note a slight difference in the car's handling characteristics on the much colder tyres (I had checked tyre pressures before setting off)- more prone to 'wander', but other than that, a really enjoyable blast!

yep, was a good weekend, I took my spyder out on Sunday, went through the A3 tunnel of course, twice! - went into the Shell garage nearby and the pump attendant said he had seen a yellow ultima recently, I guess that was you?

Might see you at goodwood etc next year as you are local.....
Yep - am local ... well Whitely (J9 M27). Not taken the Can Am through the A3 tunnel yet (or the A27 tunnel near Brighton) - but am itching to do so, esp. with the GoPro on! I know there's a yellow Can Am in Guildford and another in Chichester, so it could have been either one of those, perhaps? I did Goodwood's Soft Top Sunday this year and will definitely do next year's Supercar Sunday, so may well se you there?
