Can anyone advise on wiring up a none factory hazard warning switch?

The factory switch has 8 connections and I'm looking to use a switch with only 2.

I plan to put my hazard switch in the roof panel (rectangular plate with 3 holes) and so need something that is flush fit and fairly shallow.

So I would need a small flush fit single pole switch that would operate a double pole type relay. Similar to this...

Can anyone see any issues with this arrangement as wiring as not my strength?

So in theory I could purchase just the savage hazard switch block and use a switch of my choice.

Does anyone have any instructions/diagrams that would explain how to wire the savage hazard switch? Are there any additional components required for the rear led indicators?

Don't plan to use the savage switch itself. Just the connection block that it comes with. You can use the connection block and wire any latching switch to it.

On second thoughts....

I'm still midway through sorting out my loom, so we may get a quicker result if you try it first Steve :-)

Indicator and hazard switches seem to operate ok but the lights don't flash. Instead they remain on or off. It's as if the flasher units are not functioning.

No lights connected yet, just my Dash2 for testing wiring.
