Advance 383 SBC

I have a question about the advance on the ignition for a 383 SBC Amerspeed 535hp.
What kind of degrees btdc are needed ?

My setting has loosened up during a trackday and I can't recall the exact figures.

Mine is set now at 43° btdc. The car is track only so I'll take it there one off the coming weeks with a specialised
mechanic to see how the engine reacts under load.
