i think its a possible alternative

advantages of turbos is low boost good fuel economy, then high boost use the fuel
light weight
v6 is smaller so more room and possible centre tank
im sure it could be mated to g50 or semi auto box
very tuneable and solid internals
flames out the side on over run......:0)
