LS3 GM ECU remapping for IVA
Discussion
I am based in West Sussex and need my LS3 GM ECU remapped to pass my impending IVA. If I had more time I would use AB but the logistics are somewhat challenging. Has anyone one here had their GM ECU remapped successfully by a business in the south of England that they could recommend ?

slow down pal, if you have the standard 430bhp LS3, and you fit some small cats, it will pass, a mate with his can am, just passed his ivawhat ls3 version do have??
Well I was under the impression that it would pass but having spoken to AB yesterday on another matter they advised the it would need to be remapped. Today I contacted the engine supplier and they also advised that the Engine and ecu supplied would not pass IVA. So I guess Steve & Dave the best thing to do is get the car to a garage and have it tested prior to IVA - it's just a real pain getting the car from a-b when it's not road legal. It is the 430 version no uprated cams.

Yes has Cats - I thought I had all issues covered, maybe I'm just a control freak and it's something that doesn't sit comfortably with Ultima ownership, I know the build really is never finished!. To give a little background the build has been quite challenging with frequent experiences of one step forward, two back, character building maybe, it certainly has helped me develope the walk away process. So tested the car on public roads for the first time this week and all good apart from one minor issue, now sorted. Then a call from VOSA re my IVA application and after an exchange of views they are happy with my application and proof of newness and tell me to expect a call next week to arrange a date. So there I am, patting myself on the back, only IVA to go after two challenging years and I'm informed it needs to be mapped. So like the car I say to myself, it's gotta have the last laugh, it's so female and is the Tangerine Dream. The logistics of getting the car to AB as previously mentioned are quite challenging for me so thought I'd see what's available down south, hence the original post. In all my dealings with AB and the engine supplier they have been helpful and knowledgable, I have no reason to doubt what either are saying but the previous comments in this thread have made me ...... curious, is that the right word.......
