Having got pissed off with my handbrake I am about to order an electronic actuator from the US. Will fit nicely under my centre tunnel and couple up to the existing cables. gives 600lbs of pull which should be enough. Can also be wired to provide extra theft security.

The inspector from the MOT centre that I use said "I don't care what activates the handbrake as long as it works"
Er yes the beeper will be disconnected!

1st thing I did was to check callipers pads etc. Not sure if my hand brake is std though. It is bolted to powder coated brackets on chassis but handle seems a bit flexible.
I have a nice carbon topped centre tunnel and the lever makes it look crap so its going! E-stopp ordered.
