Wasnt happy with running the heater hoses, connections, and my (heater)cock in the side pods...

So, I got everything out on the table, then I took the nuts off the hose clamps and stood there with my cock in one hand, and scratching my nuts with the other before I had a brainwave.

I decided I'd put my cock in the gap between the tank and the side pods, and ran the cable thru the side pods, and the heater hoses under the side pods. I wrapped the heater hoses so they dont transfer heat to the side pods, brake line or wiring loom.

Hopefully my cock is well protected here and doesnt get blown off when my chassis explodes. I must admit that I'm getting a bit paranoid about my exploding chassis now, especially now my cock is not protected by the side pods... I may just get myself a tiny wok to cover my cock.

As you can see I've also wrapped my coolant pipes...its damn hot in Hong Kong so I need to do all I can to keep heat out of the cabin. I know the factory says this is naughty but I feel that the alloy LS engine is gonna dissipate heat quicker than an SB...I must admit that no calcs have been done - this is just a feeling.

Jeff-texas, you'll be happy to know that the foam I have used in this application is not the same as the one I used in the chassis - this one only explodes when the car rolls, even without fire and even though its not in a steel tube. Hope the heat doesnt build up too much inside the coolant pipes and blow the foam off the outside before I roll it!!!

I certainly hope your cock doesn't get hit by flying rivets. No one likes a leaky cock.

I remember last time I had a leaky cock.... it was VERY painful... I read your post just before going to bed, and I must say, I was so worried about the chassis exploding in the garage last night that I couldnt sleep. In desperation, I went back down to the garage, ripped my cock out of my car, played with it a bit, then took it back up to my house and sat on it all night. It was very uncomfortable as the particular model I have is very hard.

When I woke this morning, I immediately reached for my cock (as one is want to) but couldnt find the bloody thing anywhere. My girlfriend told me I had been a real pain in the ass with my cock and hasd been tossing all night.

So anyway, Im searching everywhere for my cock, even checked the dog kennel cos he always steals stuff and I was worried he may have chewed the end off it. My girlfriend was in stiches as I walked around the house looking for it....It was sort of one of those moments when you lose your sunglasses only to find them on your head.... somehow during the night I'd rolled off my cock and it had stuck itself to my forehead. You can imagine how I felt!!

After a sleepless night of worrying about a leaky cock from flying rivets, I woke this morning with a glorious vision. So, in this state of morning glory I got straight onto the computer came up with the solution.

Now we can all sleep safely!!!

...and I'm gonna be RICH.

Guys, I am feeling a little bit sensitive after the cock thing and the exploding rivets and stuff, so if you if you dont mind I'd rather you stay away from my knob, I dont want you gaggig on it. Jeff touched on my cock above and that was hard enough.

In fact, after Jeff had a go at me for not having an engineering degree, Im now finding it hard everytime I think of him and I feel like its slipping out of my hands. If there's one thing that I regret about not finishing my engineering degree, its that I missed out on all the knob gags in class. Experience counts you know and you can see the difference that a degree makes, I'll bet he did quite a few testies when he was at uni too!

Today is another big day in the workshop, Im going to torque the head, and if Im not happy with it after torquing, Im going to ask one of my engineers to assist me with a head job. In fact, I might just pay him to give me one as I want to spend a bit of time working on my girlfriends grease nipples.

Looks like another busy day on the workbench, working on my girlfriends nipples while an engineer gives me a head job. And they say people who build their own cars are boring!

Rivet.

Its all about surface area, and the ability to quickly get heat out of the water and into the air that makes a cooling system work.

Radiators have thin walls and lots of surface area with air passing over it - dragging off the heat...... the pipes are thick walled (compared to radiator and fins), have no air on them anyway and the surface area small.....

I would say very negligible effect on cooling...

If you are looking for the heat culprit... its (obviously) the engine.. SB chevs need cams and timing to get HP, and both of those mean extra heat and in any case its an iron block.

Sorry, cant help plugging the LS... completely biased of course, but Ive had a car with a SB and heat was always an issue.

I’m planning to route my heater-hoses similarly, except bonding the insulation to the underside of the luggage-bins, alloy side-walls, and the area ahead of the luggage-bins: blah blah blah blah
Just read a post on a GTM forum about foam and was reminded of my old mate Jeff-texas.

I wonder how he got on with his build.

Oh... so double entendres are OK if references to menstrual cycles.

Can I call you a tit for spanking me?
