Just wondering if there is a viable alternative to dry sumping. The Americans seem to buy loads of Canton, Kevco etc sumps with traps doors, baffles and stuff, but I see that even Canton recommend the use of an Accusump as well.

Anybody got any experience?

Apologies for poorly worded post. Have just bought the car off that nice GTR-Gaz and have 4 trackdays booked for April.

So I guess what I'm asking is, whats the chance of it surviving without a dry sump?

Hi Pete,

Whats all this talk of spanners, surely Ultimas are too reliable to need much of that !!!!!!!!

The plan for April:

7th Castle Combe
12th Goodwood
Both these very gentle getting to know the GTR
Set suspension up with the Stig/Plans at Top Gear
21st Goodwood
30th Castle Combe

Got to cobble up some Goodwood friendly silencers double quick. Really looking forward to Silverstone and Snetterton.

Poor little cars going to have a busy year (SBC permitting that is ........
