Guys, I've tried searching but not found any old thread - please pm me if you know of one, so I can delete this thread ..........

Anyway, my questions ... so, ignoring cost:-

1. Is it possible to fit 19" rims with a lower profile tyre?
2. Would the bodywork need to be altered even though the rolling radius is the same?
3. Is there any space under the arches (front and/or rear) for an extra inch or half-inch width in the rims?

but surely if you calibrate a non-ultima speedo etc then the rolling radius is less of an issue (save for clearance)???

anyway, cheers Paul - may give it a miss and stick with the 18's!

This one's got 19" rims.... needed some mods on the body for clearance.
Thanks Crafty - do you know who the owner is?

side issue ..... was about to pm Jeff and noticed in his profile a couple of aftermarket add-ons that don't appear on his price list - is he keeping those for himself? biggrin

That to me doesn't look right. It's like trying to squeeze 19s onto an Exige, it can't do any good for anything dynamically, it doesn't sit right, would be more expensive, heavier, harder to get tyres etc.

All in the eye of the beholder of course smile
Dead right ds - the Ultima-TE (TE being Turbo-engined) isn't going to worry about weight too much and as for cost of the rubber ... well ... this aint no lo-cost!
