Long weekend in BKK - 22nd to the 26th Sept - beers

Hey

I will be arriving in BKK on the 22nd September from Vietnam (its my 40th Birthday treat) and was hoping that some peeps are around for beers..? I don't think I am safe on my own as I don't know the words to Like a Virgin so would be no good in a jail cell...

Otherwise what is there / where to go for a woman on her own at night as I don't want to sit in my hotel.

I booked the Vie Hotel directly and got given an upgrade and free brekkie

I land in the evening of the 22nd and leave the late afternoon of the 26th, so anyone up for beers or something on any or all of the intervening nights (22nd / 23rd / 24th / 25th)

Made it! Currently at the Vie hotel looking out at a very grey sky, never seen so much rain in years, need to buy one of them umberella thingys lol

So anyone about for drinks tomorrow or friday? Leave on saturday late afternoon so not going to be pulling an allnighter.

Any "must do's" for a complete BKK novice on her own?
