Did you have the stupid hat on hehe ?
rofl That was the student geezer next to me heading off for a years backpacking around asia!!! I think he left the flight suitably disillusioned hehe

I was wearing an offensively bright yellow top designed to keep the UK cold (and leaky crappily preassurised old tripple 7's ) out!

eta - grumpy looking chinese bird was 'er indoors!

SkyCouch for Economy Class to entice mile-high members?
Air New Zealand's new SkyCouch, a shared lie-flat economy bed, is a success says a recent poll. According to the flight comparison site Skyscanner, 73 per cent would pay extra to stretch-out on the three economy seats which can be adapted to create a flat bed. The three seats would have to be purchased together, but the third comes at a discount price. According to Skyscanner, 13 per cent of people have said they would be happy to share a Skycouch with a stranger they met in queue. Barry Smith, director at Skyscanner, said: "We knew people would like the idea, but were amazed that so many would share the Skycouch with a stranger! It could lead to new relationships blooming at twenty thousand feet, although Air New Zealand has stressed that Skycouches should not be used to join the 'mile high' club." The bed is the first available to economy flyers
idea 3 economy seats cheaper than 2 business class ...... scratchchin

John, now youre confusing the hell out of me, youre telling me that the left side is the Starboard side....... hehe and you being a blue ocean racer hehe I remember seeing the young guy with the hat sitting on the left (port) in 31C (i think) i was in 34C, so if you were next to him then i was only 3 rows behind you, but i was on the Port side......scratchchin i think.....
quotes "there's a little red port left in the bottle" ..... ohh bugger, i gort it wrong !!!

We were in 31A & B ... small world ehh rofl

BTW did you get re-allocated those seats as i think they were ours origionally but i asked for something with a bit more leg room and was given the emergancy exit (i just rounded my height up to 6ft 4" hehe )

anyway, i was the one getting a regular supply of anaesthetic G&T's at the start of the flight and then snoring like a trooper for the rest!!

Where in Sarawak you be? Kuching, Miri or somewhere more exotic?

Working is a bit harsh though isn't it?

You have my deepest sympathies hehe and i know exactly what you mean about getting the row in sync re the bladder thing.

I usually start by calling the hostie for a beer then just getting beers for the whole row .... each time i have a drink, they have a drink find that usually works plus breaks the ice, however may not have worked with 2 old Mancunians

You could have at least shown them the marvles of Television hehe

yea sorry about the sound effects up front there sleep
