My Sky HD box is nowhere near my router, so at the moment I dont have Anytime enabled. I was going to look at getting the Sky wireless adapter but it seems a lot of money at £60.

So, first question. Will Anytime Plus work over a couple of Ethernet powerline adapters? I may be able to acquire two for not a lot of money if that will solve my problem.

If that wont work, or I can't get the powerline adapters, is there a cheaper alternative to the Sky adapter? Would a generic USB or Ethernet wireless adapter work?

A cheapo eBuyer 200mps Powerline adapter works perfectly on my Sky HD box, even on a 4-way extension lead rather than a wall socket as recommended.
Thanks. Was it just plug and play? Newer used powerline adapters before.

I use an Open media wifi bridge instead of sky's adapter. Think it was somewhere in the region of £10 on ebay.
One of these?

Yep that's the one. Just need to set it up with your wifi settings on the pc first then hook it up to the Sky hd box.
You don't happen to know if it can be configured with an Apple Mac instead of a PC do you?

Did you get this sorted?

I've only just got Sky installed and don't fancy cables across my lounge

Unfortunately not, I was given the adapters but one was broken.
