Sky On Demand - slow download?

Got my little Sky on demand connector box last week, connected it up to our Sky+HD box and duly recorded the first episode of Hostages from 4OD becasue we'd missed it....

Anyway this 45 minute non-hd programme took well over an hour to download (file size was shown as 654MB) - is this normal or do I have a problem with some piece of equipment?

We're using Sky wireless broadband via a Sky hub...

Unfortunately I don't have the option of a wired connection between the Sky Hub and the Sky+HD box because a previous owner of our house had the master phone socket moved to an upstairs bedroom which she used as a home office, obviously the Sky+HD box resides in the lounge...

I've ordered a Sky wireless booster, I'll see if that helps
