Had an amp kicking around so decided to fill the space under the tv up with it and a pair of mordaunt short speakers. They're too big.. Both in look and sound.
Notice Richard sounds have warfedale diamond 9s at £50. Might be better suited.
Any recommendations for even smaller units that pack a punch?

I have used Creative GigaWorks T20 Series for a couple of years now, absolutely brilliant smile Better than the Bose AM5s I used to have...
Funnily enough that's what I had prior to sticking the amp up. Little blue light was annoying though. For the £ they were very good.

I've just clicked buy on a pair of Kurzweil KS40a.
If these work out, Amp & speakers will get moved on (or stuck up in loft for another few years)
Will report back

Set them up today, only had a few mins to listen to them, but impressed. They're not big, but sound good.. decent punch & bass.
Therer's a pair of phono inputs, one of which has a treble boost for some reason - didnt realise this before buying. It's not massive but if it gets in the way, there's a simple enough DIY fix by removing a couple of components from the board.
So, bye bye big amp & speakers

Used them plenty now. Happy with them. Only downside is vol knob is on the rear of the main speaker. Other than that, ace.
