Discussion
Little out of my depth, looking for a bit of advice.
At the moment I have a really old (Vista) PC behind my tv to play iPlayer/4OD etc and also to watch avi movies on (via USB)
There's a VGA cable connection to my tele and a 3.5mm from the PC headphone jack into my old Rotel amp. The amp is only used for this purpose as I have Sonos in the rest of the house. It's all getting a bit knackered and clunky though, and the sound quality has deteriorated over time as things wear out.
Wondering whether Roku 3 will replace this lot, anyone have any experience with it? Can I play my own movies via the USB port on it? Anything else I should consider as an alternative?
Thanks
Edit - or perhaps a smart DVD player?
