Wonder if anyone can give me some ideas! The tv in my bathroom has an HDMI out cable, instead of a female HDMI input. This means to input an HDMI source into it I am using a female to female HDMI adapter, then another Hdmi cable into the other end running to my apple TV. But I have a hugely frustrating problem....

After about 20-25 minutes, the screen will flicker and search for the input. It gradually gets worse until the picture is cutting out for 20 seconds at a time, and then it finds the HDMI source again.

Before I pull everything out, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas? I was thinking of just securing the adapter and cables with some electrical tape? Does that connection sound likely to be the issue? Or is there a better adapter I can buy that securely grips the hdmi cables in?

Are you sure condensation isn't the issue?

And you spend too long in the bath.
It could be actually. That's a good shout. It might be that connection getting moisture inside it? If so, is there any way to combat this? Would a load of electrical tape round the connection do the trick? All the cables are hidden away inside the laundry cupboard, but I guess the condensation will still get in there?
