So, I've had Sky HD for years and the Marantz for about 2 years.

I've always had it set up so that the Sky goes directly to the TV via HDMI 2 and the Sky opital audio out feeds the sound to the Marantz (I can't remember why but there was a reason!).

However.

Now I have purchased a new TV (accidentally!) I tried to set it up correctly last night and it all seems to work fine apart from the lip sync on Sky via the Marantz.

If I watch Sky via HDMI pass through (so with the Marantz off) it works fine. As soon as I turn the Marantz on the lip sync is slightly out.

I've tried removing the optical audio and relying on the HDMI lead but it makes no difference.

I can't seem to find an adjustment for lip sync in the Marantz menu - it just seems to have lip sync auto adjust either on or off - tried both and no difference.

Am I doing something wrong?

To clarify, I have the Sky HD box and my PS3 both feeding the Marantz, along with an optical in from the Sky box. I then have one HDMI going to the TV from the Marantz.

I'm guessing there is a lip sync adjustment in the Sky menu somewhere, but if it is OK via HDMI pass through I don't want to alter it!

Any help greatly appreciated.

Is this for the Samsung 6700 your kid ordered for you? laugh

If so, there should be a lip sync adjustment in the TV settings (as there is on my 6400).

This will be able to adjust the output setting to your Marantz.
Yes, it is! hehe

OK, but can that be altered for each individual input? Because the lip sync for Sky on HDMI pass-through is fine.

Thanks!
