Hi

Few queries with magic eye if someone can help.

Basically i am trying to work out what do i need to get sky magic eye to work in upstairs room. the cable length will be around 20-25 m.

We got a new sky HD box with builtin wifi today so i am assuming it has IO link rather than RF outlet.

What do i actually need to get this to work other than the coax cable? Do i need an amplifier or some sort of splitter? do i need power source for magic eye...

Can anyone recommend any IO link/magic eye/amplifier?

i have an older sky HD box (unused recently) from couple of years ago which may have RF outlet. However the sky card has been paired with new box today by engineer. i dont know if i can pair the new card with old box and use it that way....

So your Sky box is downstairs and you have a second display upstairs? If you have a HDMI connecting the two already, no need for a Magic eye, just use one of these IR over HDMI I bought one earlier this year, brilliant bit of kit, works flawlessly.
Thanks. I dont know what you mean but if you are mentioning if i have HDMI link between two TVs then answer is no. I will only run a co-ax cable.

thanks

As a side line, if your box is connected to the Internet in the UK there is no need to call sky top air a card any more, go to a subscription channel and the box will ask you if you want to pair it! All done over the Internet.
