Hi all,

I have bought a new house (not new build) I am looking to put a TV and sonos soundbar above the fireplace, after it has been removed and a small unit to the left of the chimney breast where the Sky box, blu ray etc will be. The old owners had wallpaper everywhere so we are removing it and then replastering the walls, this gives me the opportunity to put new cables in the walls etc.

I have my electrician putting new sockets above the existing fireplace (amongst other jobs) where the TV will be hung, the question I have is do I simply put HDMI cables in the wall or is there a smarter solution. I have put a picture below so you guys can see the wall in question.

Any advice welcome as I am completely new to this and not sure where to start. Also, if anyone here is an installer who will be willing to travel to near Romford Essex to do the install, let me know.
