Well guys I have finally finished upgrading my Home Cinema. I just got hold of a pair of Dali ikon 6 mk2 for the fronts, they do a great job with music and are not to bad with films. The picture on the Panny 65" 4k is stonkingly good. I rounded it off with a Yamaha 677 which in my mind is a great happy medium between films and music, with music being slightly the better. A little picture to give you an idea.

Yes you are right 42" is a mere portable nowa days. If you look on Richer Sounds Panny have 85" screens, mind you at 10k, I will give it a miss

That looks fab - on a related note, I think I need an oak version of your cabinet. :-) Can I ask where you got that?
Thank you. The cabinet was from John Lewis. Its nice quality with all the compartments in the right place

I used to run an Onkyo 607 and when I started this upgrade I swapped to Yamaha simply because they are so much sweeter with music, which is more to my taste of late, it was the right decision the Yamaha is so much better than the Onkyo. All in MHO of course.

The back panel is a thin black laminate, it cuts and drills no problems. There are a cut outs at the aback but as i did you will need it make them a bit bigger.
