I currently have the 55" in a room around 5.5m x 5.5m. TV sits on one end and I sit on the other.
Doesnt seem too big too me. I would either get the 55" version of this TV or maybe the 65", worried it might be too big.

There is a difference between thinking it looks not too big and actually being able to resolve the extra resolution.

Don't really get curved TVs, unless you're sitting reasonable close and dead centre, what's the point?

I like them.
Curved screen, the new 3D, unless you live in a windmill, lighthouse, etc.
Totally disagree with that. Don't get me wrong I am not a huge fan of them, never really done it for me at all and neither did 3D but to place them in the same bracket is a too far.

I think curve is here to stay for the long term - not sure about forever but certainly long term. I have seen technology advances make the curve element have a wider viewing angle and really help this feature.

Here's a silly virgin question but the Quantum dot tech in the Samsung is that not oled equivalent?

Is the lg Oled really that good?

OLED really is that good - the best (and most expensive, but that's by the by) AV purchase I've ever made.
Not a huge fan of LG products after having a few fairly boring TVs from them in the past but I may need to re review this opinion.

One is simply one of the best screens ever made, the other is.....bigger?
I wonder if samsung will divert to OLED at some point. With the reading I have done they cant really overcome the limitations of LCD/LED hardware or maybe they can but with massive R&D which would be counter productive.
