Stereo with optical/HDMI input, CD player and WiFi
Discussion
Hi all,
Perhaps an unusual request this, seeking input from the PH experts.
I have a small bedroom TV (a bit council, yes?) with rubbish speakers. I'd like to take either HDMI or optical from that TV into a stereo for better sound. In addition - and because I don't want boxes everywhere - I'd like to be able to play CDs through this device as well and if possible, either internet radio, DAB or streamiung (AirPlay or bluetooth) from iPhones too.
I guess then my requirements are:
1. Must have HDMI or optical in.
2. Must have CD player.
3. One of internet radio, DAB, or streaming from iPhones.
Budget, say £200?
I'm having trouble finding something to do this. Can anyone recommend something please?
Cheers, Steve.

Thanks Mackie, I'm looking at one of those now. My requirement for a CD player has just cracked I think!
Lostmotel, yep, I saw that as I'm currently spending a lot of time on Richer Sounds website as my main surround amp has failed too. I think though with the extra speakers being separate - though of course far better - it would start to be quite dominating in the space and perhaps not missus proof with the Airport/Chromecast in the mix.
