Evening all. Some help / advice if you please.

I've just bought a shiny new telly. 4k capablw, this one if it matters:

http://www.johnlewis.com/store/samsung-ue55ku6400-...

I'm looking for some advice on sound options and 4K.

As it stands i have an Onkyo 309 amp, some mission bookshelf speakers and until recently a beautiful paradigm sub but that has expired.

I have SkyQ with 4K, but as the amp is acting as a hub for everything HDMI (Sky, xbox etc.) I can't use SkyQ 4K as the amp can't handle it, it has to be directly attached.

The telly is on the wall with the cables hidden so want to keep this.

Is there a device that i can use that will handle 4K but not need to have the telly directly cabled to SkyQ?

Also - sound. I'm a fan of lots of volume but lots of clarity. The sub and speakers did a decent job of that but they are tired now and i'm looking to refresh.

Soundbars? Again could i plug this into an HDMI hub to avoid more cables to the telly? Do they plug straight into the SkyQ box?

Thanks in advance.

Simplest (not necessarily the cheapest) way would be to source a used AV amp capable of HDCP2.2 and HDMI 2.0a - this would handle all modern 4K formats, act as an audio and video hub and allow a single HDMI feed to your TV.
Thank you. Lots of terms in there i'll google biggrin

Could you mention an example of the sort of amp i'd be looking at?

Thanks again!
