Go to film for showing off Blu-ray/4K/HT?

Whats your go to film if you buy a new bit of Home Theatre or tv/projector to test it out?

Have you ever returned something you thought would be great and then you put your favorite in and been underwhelmed?

Quite surprising how many titles I have. I didn't realise different countries get different quality discs.

So is it better to look for Imax/70mm based films? Do they do the Hobbit Blu-ray with the higher frame rate like the cinema version?
