TITT 11..

As from previous thread on Chimaera forum ChrisA has put the question forward for a TITT 11 event to be held.

To my knowledge previous events have been held in July and then another held later on in the year.
It has already been suggested for the event to be held in late May,we will also then have the debate for Saturday/Sunday.
My view and pretty sure QBee's will be that 'May' is not that far away and trying to organize for that date might have fewer numbers.

I quite understand and agree that QBee takes a back seat on this one and looks like we might have a volunteer Jamienshelly who's come forward to organize.If that is the case then Jamie please take over in your own time but for now I have copied the list of Chimaera's from previous thread and can you edit which Month and which day is preferred.

This is again just my opinion but feel there should be a time gap to which Month the event is to be held and if Jamie and Shelly want to organize then they have the final decision.If Jamie/Shelly or Anthony think it's possible or not to organize by the end of May please confirm ASAP so we can consider or out rule.

Again just my view is that we let this run for a few weeks to decide which month,then the organizer(That's you Jamie/Shelly ) can give the given date.

It may be a good idea if anyone has edited a grid under your user name to go back and delete it if you have seen me do an update so we only have 1 grid.

I have just edited as I have no idea why No1 on the grid keeps jumping out of line.

As I previous wrote on the Chimaera forum opened by ChrisA,my knowledge of London is nonexistent and would end in complete disaster and can not offer to do a planned route.

Considering the thread has only been opened for a couple of days it looks like we are having very keen interest and from what I see a Sunday in June is favorite at this stage.

Keep us up to date if Shelly can find time and is prepared to take on the challenge,failing this we will need someone who has good general knowledge of London to step forward ( Not you QBee but please stop playing hard to get and add your name on the list)

And thank you for making some adjustments to the Grid...
With you having a Good knowledge of London this is a very good start and the bonus of you doing TITT before sounds like we have the right man.

Looks like djstevec has found some information that might be against us,and maybe a good idea to look into this before deciding the day.

With Ref to starting and finishing points maybe between yours,Jamie and Shelly's combined help and effort we will achieve a great venue.

I'm liking Jamie's words already "it will be as good as ever and Shelly may be able to find something special for us.(You did say that did't you Jamie)?

Paul,Jamie and Shelly... I am not abandoning ship and where ever you think I can help I'm here.. If anyone else also thinks they can contribute then please step forward as one of our crew has already pointed out he/she have a big task on their hands already.

This is just to get an idea of who is interested doing a tunnel run,what Month and which day suits the majority.

I personally think the date should be set to the majority,and if that turns out to be a Sunday in June or a Saturday in May or July then you/us will have to decide if we can make this date around your/our plans.

Even when the date is set and another chart posted you are not 100% committed,it just gives the organizers an example and idea of how many cars are attending.

I have only attended one TITT which was held on a Saturday so don't have much to compare,but for those who have done multiple runs and their opinions are that Sunday works better then I would listen to those opinions.

For me again personally my diary is pretty clear and about the only day i would struggle for would be Sat 12th July,so my name is on the list but if it happened on that day I'm out

I was't planning to... But from what I see on the list a Sunday in June looks most popular,and the event on 22nd you posted and Shelly commented on looks good to me.

As ukdj has kindly stepped forward for the running of it I feel it has nothing to do with what I think anymore.

If ukdj with jamienshelly help if possible,think it can be arranged and favorable for the 22nd June and want to confirm this date we can close this thread and I will open a new chart in the events stating the official date.

I thought we may have more numbers than this so maybe others are just waiting for a confirmed date first before they add their name. But not everyone that comes are on PH and get the news via other methods so many more will take part than what's on the list.

Not a good day for any of us with a load of cyclists knocking around...
