TVRCC Herts, Beds, Bucks & Middx. Run to Cheddar Gorge Pt2

Hi All
About 7 pages ago (and a year in time) Alex proposed a run down to Cheddar Gorge from the Home Counties area. This never quite got off the ground last year for various reasons so we are trying to revive it for this year.
I've volunteered to take over the organisation from Alex and I'm aiming for the weekend of 25/26 April (2015).
The plan so far is that we will meet up at Beaconsfield services just off the M40 and travel mainly by motorway so we don't all get lost and it will be quicker than A roads.
Down at the gorge folk can do what they want but I'll try to find a pub for lunch for those that want it.
Who's still interested and which day would you prefer?
Saturday might be quieter at the gorge but the roads might be quieter on the Sunday.
Any other thoughts/ideas?
