Before the main event at Chatsworth House on Sunday the 4th we have two runs planned for Saturday the 3rd, and these runs will include some of the best of the Peak District scenery and driving roads. Full details of both runs will follow soon.

The 1st run will start from Chatsworth House DE451PP at exactly 10:30am ( not the garden centre car park ). This will take us into the lovely Hope Valley and past the Ladybower reservoir, and onto our 1st scenic re-group point near Mam Tor at Castleton. Then on through the winding and steep Winnats Pass.

Then a blast across the moors over Long Hill with its superb views of the Goyt Valley and onto our lunch stop at the Pavillion Gardens Buxton SK176BE.

We have our own display parking area on the prom at the Gardens, and we have reserved seating in the Pavillion café for lunch. Please look for the small Union Jack flags on our tables.

The 2nd run starting a little later will also join us here for the lunch stop and then both groups will leave together for a shorter afternoon scenic run to the spectacular Monsal Head pub with its amazing views DE451NL.

Maps for this 1st run will be here soon and details of the 2nd run to follow shortly

Hi Tony, hopefully someone will be along who can sort that for you and put the information on here. Unfortunately I don't have a Sat Nav, there are some Post codes on the maps and the route will have arrows at every junction that needs a right or left turn...and we have some re-group points along the way.

Don't forget these great runs on Saturday.
For those making their way to run 1 starting from Chatsworth House just go over the bridge to the House and you will see us in the main car park outside the House. We will need to leave here at 10:30 as we have special permission to drive through the park to the Golden Gate exit.
And for run 2 please meet just off Junction 29 of the M1 in the direction of Chesterfield. The 1st layby on the left, starting at 11am.
Weather is looking ok so hope to see lots of you there.
Regards
Kev.

Big thanks to all who made the runs today. What a fantastic start to the Chatsworth weekend. It was great to see you all parked outside the magnificent Chatsworth House. And the drive through the park on the private road to the Golden Gate was an amazing sight of TVR,s winding through the park. Hope you all enjoyed the scenery and roads of the Peak District. We seemed to be getting lots of interest on the prom at the Pavillion Gardens in Buxton. And hope you managed to sample the Monsal beer and great views at the end.
