Some bint has just claimed she got £65 worth of shopping (from Tesco) for £5.50 using 'vouchers'.

There's the whiff of BS about this... but I can't stop watching!

Roadkill? Meh - been eating it for years nuts

I was surprised at the insistence on Burton's Jammy Dodgers and Kellog's Crunchy Nut Cornflakes at Morrisons / Tesco.

Their equivalents can be had at half the price at Lidl.

A sneaky attempt at brand placement perchance? From my experience Tesco offers the lowest value for money on groceries.

Maybe we should start a 'penny-pinching thread'.

An email just received says that King Edward potatoes are 74p per 2.5Kg bag at Lidl this weekend.

I'm going to make mash and fill the freezer.
