Is there any kind of film that is enjoyable to watch in the sense its something you would dream about?

I.e. i always have mystical dreams that are so random, and 'the lovely bones' was one film i really enjoyed because of the way she was trapped between heaven and earth etc

Is there any adventurous films like this?

i watched eraserhead

BORINGGGG, lol, i guess i can see the ART in it but my god, 40 minutes to find out he had a baby with a girl jesus that movie is painfully slow and did not in any way scare me.

I guess i want something with a storyline as that film was just stupid lol

I'm a big Donnie Darko fan, thoroughly recommended.

eXistenZ (another David Cronenberg film)

http://m.imdb.com/title/tt0120907/

Gattaca

http://m.imdb.com/title/tt0119177/

I realise they're both Jude Law films (I'm not a fan, just coincidence). They might not be great films either, but both could be classed as weird, and are watchable.

Lost Highway (David Lynch)

http://m.imdb.com/title/tt0116922/

Momento

http://m.imdb.com/title/tt0209144/

Jacob's Ladder

All will leave you thinking. I think.
Ive just watched donnie darko it was awesome, had to read up for an explanation, still a bit confusing lol.

Is there any good films that are based on drugs and as a result there are a lot of visual distortions of them tripping etc?????

Fear and Loathing in LA (comedy)

Altered States (horror)

Both good films.

Plus the best ever bad trip scene in Dead Man's Shoes.
they both have a lot of tripping scenes?
