Seen a few trailers for this.
Know nothing about it...but it looks like a telly adaptation of the Green Arrow, a b-list DC comic character in the same vein as Batman.
If so, it may be good...it may stink as most telly adaptations do of comic book characters...but the odd one shines through....

I do find most of these 'low-rent', especially if they end up on the Sci-Fi channel or Watch.
But I do hope it is watchable.
I also hope it is not another forumalic procedural type show where the villain gets his comeuppance at the end of every identical episode, like Alcatraz or similar.

I'll watch the link. I don't know anything about GA apart from when he interlopes in Batman stories. Is the show origin the same as the comic?

Never really said, except for the glimpse of a man in an identical hooded costume, and a bow and arrow, and that was in the bit you saw, I presume.
He was already back, I was not aware of some other archer.Getting caught was good, I also like the fact he needs others to help him, like his new sidekick

It's a series based on a comic superhero, on that basis, it's not cheesy.
Compared to something like Hunter, then yes it is. It needs to be treated in context, but I think I know what you mean.

Although CW it's grittier than Smallville, probably a Dark Knight legacy.
Also rumoured is a Wonder Woman show from CW too - that one maybe more like Smallville ie concentrate on the teen agnst years.

I enjoy it for what it is but can completely understand people who don't. It's definitely on the borderline of being too cheesy at times and is one of those shows I watch if I've got the time but wouldn't go out of my way for.
Same.I said in my OP, it's tricky making a superhero programme. This one is an acceptable effort, but nothing to rave about.
I'm aware of who the Green Arrow is from the Batman Graphic Novels I've collected. When this thing started I thought they were gonna just adult him up a bit a la Nolan. But in the latest trailer I see that he is now gonna be called the Green Arrow. Are they meant to be different people in the programme?
