Am I the only one who finds this very watchable? What on earth are half these people in the hotel business for? Love Mr & Mrs T Aquafresh Wedding And a Groom is serious st!

And how ironic that CH4 screen it just after BBC2 screened an episode of Fawlty Towers......

That's not my understanding of it. After buying the Grosvenor he went on to buy another 2 local hotels and it was those 2 that he placed is a separate LLP, and it was this that went into administration

Incidentally The Grosvenor is ranked on TA as 64th out of 103 hotels in Torquay.... I think that tells you everything you need to know about the 38 that sit below it....

I wondered that too. Google says 3 hotels owned by one company was sold owing 900k to mark (all 3 but no sale price ?)
In October someone bought the grosvenor from Mark for £1m but the other two hotels not yet sold??
The company mark owned all 3 hotels is currently being liquidated

That's not what I read. Two other hotels were owned by a company he owned. That went into receivership.

The Grosvenor was owned by him directly and he sold it.

Wonder if he bought a red Bentley?
