Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy - sequel
Discussion
It seems that they are pressing ahead with a follow up to the 2011 film.

It doesn't say that it will be The Honorable Schoolboy. I always thought that book would be impossible to make into a film. Maybe they could gloss over that book and go straight to Smiley's People.
I liked the film and want to see the sequel.

Funnily enough TTSS was my christmas read following on from seeing the film,It took me 2attempts to watch the film but I found the book very readable.Being a bit of an anorak I now intend to read all Le Carre's books in order,so I'll report back here in about 3years!
I used to have a 5 hour commute (2.5 hours each way) and motored through loads of books, all the Bond novels, all the Jeeves and Wooster and all the Le Carre books. I found that every other book was excellent, with the ones in between less so. The first two are entertaining but are more detective novels, The Spy Who Came in From The Cold is excellent, but I found The Looking Glass War slow. The follow up to TTSS is very slow but Smiley's People is excellent.Gassing Station | TV, Film, Video Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
