surely you spend £45K on a piece of machinery, someone would come along to install and set it up for you.
I thought that as well. Also, he said he'd bought stuff, vessels etc, off ebay, so he was happy to buy used equipment. So why not buy a small second hand bottling machine to start with and then you can always buy a bigger and better one if demand increases ?
He claimed he had a high paid job in pharmaceuticals sales ( he used another term but I'm sure it was sales ) so that's why it's odd he was so stupid when it came to running a business etc. And he had his wife looking after the finances but she said she did not really understand what she was looking at.

Nope, 6 programmes in the series: http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b04grqw4

Well, it does say 6 episodes, but I've tried to find when the next one is on and I can't. It was on Monday at 21:00 but it's now been replaced by a new series." 2/6 Alex meets a family of sausage producers whose survival relies heavily on supermarkets. "
The last 4 episodes, starting with episode 3, start again on Tuesday:

It's a bit odd that parts 1 & 2 were on in September last year and its taken until now to put the remaining ones on.

The place's biggest problem which I spotted in 1 microsecond was its location. 20 minutes from the town centre - that's your problem; no passing trade. And what was the point of showing them the cake place right next to (or was it inside ?) The Gherkin ? They have a completely different clientèle. The London one will have lots of bankers and ynmmy-mummys. But the Torquay one will have the Tea & Pee brigade.
Of course the family were nuts; Dad was a tt and the daughter just burst into tears all the time. Plus they had clearly eaten all their own cakes as well.

I thought there might have been a break whilst this cleared up? - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2791608/bo... court proceedings hit the news in October, break was at the end of September. And then no slot until now to continue?
You might well be right there.I recall another programmer a few years ago (BBC4 I think) that may have featured the same shop, but I'm not 100% sure.
The problem with that type of business is that they will do will in a booming economy and very badly in recession.
When people feel well off they spend lots of money on frivolous things (I recall noticing lots of this type of business a few years ago; kids play things, dog grooming, lawn mowing, nappy washings and other assorted crap). But when the economy goes pear shaped then it's these same businesses that are the first to suffer as people stop spending money on them. I'd think it's a very risky business to be in.

So a French degree is only 2 years, so it's what we know call a Foundation Degree (but when I did my degree, 2 years of study was a HND).Gassing Station | TV, Film, Video Streaming & Radio | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
