So was John Wilkes Booth!
I don't understand the relevance.

These are people who committed crimes in real life.

My question related to what the writers of a soap show might decide regarding a particular plot line.

I know. It wasn't relevant. It was a light-hearted response.
I haven't watched Eastenders for at least ten years anyway so I don't know many of the characters listed. Ian Beale sticks out though.
Ah, I see.

You're not even slightly confused but you think that it would be funny to pretend to be.
No, really, I am puzzled. I didn't understand why actors' names were mentioned - light hearted or not.

I doesn't matter. Forget it.

Don't get how they Charlie's mom put Phil in the frame?
I think she took his gloves from the hospital waiting room.

They also still had the secateurs and the j-cloth stained with brake fluid.

I'm guessing she put them all together somewhere for the coppers to find.

I reckon the Carter grandfather story is building him up to be an utterly manipulative individual - the sort of person who gets a kick out of control.

I think it's less to do with his desire to die.
