It was pretty average. All the DC film and TV stuff compares so poorly with Marvel's output, with the exception of the Nolan and Burton Batman films.

Marvel have had quite a lot of time to get the tone right - Iron Man was released in 2008 and the expectations at the time were not sky-high. DC are having to dive in and get it 100% right first time.

Batman Begins was 2005. So they've actually had longer to get it right.

Its a shame because DC has far better heroes and villains than Marvel.

The Keaton one was 1989!

DC have had a long time and have never got their act together and in playing catch up they keep messing it up. They are trying to get to where Marvel are right now and seemed to have missed the 8 years of fully joined up thinking that has them where they are now. For me it's why the films and tv aren't working very well as characters are shoe horned in to launch the next film and it doesn't quite fit.

Anyway, still enjoyed the film but not a touch on Marvel stuff.
