This week. Transporter. Why? It's not that long since the original. Unless it has a 7 series I am out.

The first Daniel Craig Bond film was a cracking refresh, if not an outright reboot.
It was certainly a much needed refresh, but it owed a bit too much to the Bourne movies in hindsight (actually I said so at the time too biggrin )

Maybe I'm odd though as I preferred the second one! Felt more Bond to me.

M.
I thought that as well. Looks like they viewed the Bourne stuff and went.....oh....st frown Then did a re-write.

I'll watch it when it's on t'telly.

One just now, Flight of the Navigator...would be good for a remake, or Last Starfighter.
ANy film that although it may be good/great, relies too heavily on the days tech, or puts itself too firmly in a time period.
Flight of the navigator is an odd one to me. It seems to start of as a serious sci-fi film and then goes all comedy.

This week a reboot of Halloween but at least it will be Jamie Lee Curtis.

But I cannot see it having the same atmosphere as the original and the great music / effects

Rather than cartoon to live action, theres a new Addams Family movie out soon that goes the other way
I liked the re-re-re-re-make live action one. The new one looks a bit like a cross between that and Despicable Me.

Actually I'm a bit fed up with modern animated film cartoon stuff, It's always the same childish stuff with the hidden adult edge. They all look identical as well as I'm they seem to use the same 3D rendering engine.

I had to check that wasn't a Daily Mash story first.

Story elsewhere - https://www.google.co.uk/search?sxsrf=ACYBGNTN2ZBR...
