Watched this last night, very violent and gratuitous, lots of naked ladies, what's not to like.
Was the football violence really as vicious as portrayed, hammers and machetes ?
I remember the murder case of the 3 guys.

Is that the film with 'Physique' (character from TV 'London's Burning') kicking off in the Little Chef - and later in Pizza Hut?

Funniest thing I've seen for ages.

As for the thuggery - apparently well documented. Treatment and F Troop had quite a reputation in the seventies, followed by the InterCity Crew in the eighties iirc.

There's a couple of films about the Rettendon Murders - this being one of them.
Yes ....it was rather strange seeing old faces from the TV "soaps" playing in these roles of extreme violence.
Spoilt it a bit for me as I found difficulty divorcing them from the rather more "gentle" roles and persona they played on TV.
A bit like Vin Diesel playing the role of Dougal in Father Ted.

Re. The football violence .....I knew about that but I imagined it to be more in the nature of a "good old fashioned ruck"rather than the hammer and machete wielding nutters portrayed.
