Anyone else all Marvelled out?
For an R rated Ryan Reynolds Deadpool movie...Not in the slightest.

rest of Marvel, i will see how the phase 3 movies go, as i can see the bottom of the barrel after these ones to be honest.
As above, we have been crying out for a proper R Rated superhero film. Blade was the last and that was awesome, Deadpool is almost the perfect hero for a film quippy and funny and completely ruthless. Bring it on I say. Deadpool is by far my favourite comic character.

Ryan Reynolds is perfect for this, hard to think of any actor who would be as natural a fit. Should be awesome though the R rating will probably hurt it in terms of overall Marvel comparisons.
Maybe it'll convince Hollywood we want some of the harder comics made into films.

I'm hugely disappointed. It looks rubbish from that trailer, and if even the trailer can't make it look half decent then oh dear.
What the st? Did we even watch the same trailer? It looks awesome!

I just wish Warner bro would by the 2000AD rights.

There have been 4 Dredd/Batman crossovers in the comics

I love the fact he is fully aware that he is a fictional comic book anti hero.

Watched it Sat night. Just brilliant! Cinema audience loved it...Ryan Reynolds delivers those lines so well.

Really need to see it again to take in all those gags..

This is what you get when the actor is a huge fan of the comic book character, and wants to see a true representation as much as the rest of us, not some modified by Hollywood committee.

The 1st versions of Deadpool and Dredd were such by committee things.

2nd time around how ever we proper versions

Ryan Reynolds is Deadpool.

Karl Urban is Dredd.

Both actors are huge fans of the characters they played, before they were even actors.

Good to see Dredd at number 1.....anyone who has not seen it.....go buy it...turn up the volume and watch it now...!
I bought the DVD, the blueray and on amazon to help get the figures up.

It was the US distributor who CBA advertising it that made it fail in the cinemas in the US, not the film.

Superb film - they obviously didn't have a huge budget for vfx and sets like the earlier Stallone travesty but Karl Urban really nailed the Dredd character.

Great 3D on the bluray, too.

If the current mania for R rated comic book/superhero movies results in 'Dredd 2' it will have been worth it.
Karl Urban is the same as Ryan Reynolds, they were fans of Dredd and Deadpool before they were popular actors.

they both wanted to see true to the comic versions on the silver screen as much as the rest of the fans.
