Aliona's figure is absolutely smashing this season. Married life must be sitting well with her. But all the pros are very good.In the eye candy stakes, my leaderboard is currently:
- Female contestant - Helen George, the mid-wife lady. She's like a little China doll.
- Male contestant - Peter Andre
- Female pro - Janette Manrara
- Male pro - Pasha Kovalev
Well I just caught up.
If you watch Bruno's reaction Giovanni was still shaking the head towards Bruno when the another judge was talking and Bruno looked a bit miffed. Len would have seen this and I think rightly so pulled him back in to line as he has to take a fair part of the criticism too as he sets the theme and provides the stage so to speak for Georgia to dance on.

Aliona
Best routine of the night for me!
Yep, I can't believe how tight the syncronisation was between the two of them so early. Jay's leg action, feet and hips were just spot on. Has he had dance training before, if not to get to that level so quickly is amazing. It would be the best dance in recent memory for me, especially so early in the season.Best routine of the night for me!

ABSOLUTELY!!!I am a week behind, but I laughed at Bruno's bks stuff up last week. Tess looked pissed and when Bruno worked out the gravity of his words, he looked honestly worried. In one shot he could be seen looking at his watch to see how late it was in the evening for that language.
On the whole though, he does seem too nasty this season, whilst his theme is right, there is no need for the stinging tongue.
I really think Carol needs to go then Jeremy. I hope Kirsty stays in for a bit longer.

Not sure it was a whine, just her telling it as she sees it, plus of course she's right. Neither her or Kirsty were the worst yet both were in the dance off. Jeremy and Carol especially have consistently been poor since the start yet neither have been anywhere near the dance off - if I were Jamelia I wouldn't worry about what the public think as the judges will decide whether she stays in or not. As it was, tonight, she was better than Kirsty so deserved to stay and will go when she's in a dance off against someone better, not because of a public vote to keep in their favourites rather than the best dancers.
+1Plus I might add that Darcey looked great as Morticia.
Right result this week.
As other have said, the silver cover Claudia was wearing was terrible. Whoever got her that should get the sack.
I could but help but think that they have given Jay the Argentine Tango this week being the first one of the season, to make it more difficult for him as he is by far the most technically competent of all of them.
Looking forward to Georgia's charleston, I think she will do really well at it as she is becoming more competent each week and as I predicted way back at the start, she will be in the final.
And yes Helen's legs in that dress , even if she is a slightly strange looking chick.

I am a week behind as I am not UK based. Peter's dance last week in the DO against Jamelia was worse than his prior effort and no doubt Jamelia had improved. I was shocked at the results and not knowing the back story since I read the posts on here from the last week, now I understand what has gone on.
Peter should have gone home without a doubt, but Jamelia would have gone the next week anyway, at least that would have been the right decision.
Isn't it time for everybody to pick the final 3 and the winner?
My prediction is:
Jay
Anita
Georgia
Georgia to win.

I just got the opportunity to see both shows from last week. All series I have been wanting Jay and Aliona to win with a soft spot for Georgia and Giovanni. However after seeing the show I was really disappointed in Jay and Aliona's performances. They danced technically well, but was just disappointed with the routines. I came to the conclusion that they should come third. Looking at Aliona's body language you could tell she was disappointed with the way things had panned out and I think she had conceded that her choices most likely had cost them the win.
Without a doubt Kellie and Kevin had the best "performances" of the night and their scores were well deserved, but looking back on their whole series I never really connected with them and thought they should come second.
Georgia and Giovanni should have won, she really came on as a dancer and performer in the last few weeks or so and I thought she performed really well tonight. Her performances were consistently high and technical ability very good.
When the results were announced I think it shocked everybody and given the above I was disappointed for Georgia and Giovanni. However when the series is taken in to account, not just the night you can justify Jay and Aliona's win.
In any case, it has been a great series and the highlight for me without a doubt is Jay and Aliona's week three Jive. The level of syncronicity (sp) at that stage in the competition in such a greatly choreographed routine was absolutely brilliant, and what made it even more memorable for both Jay and Aliona no doubt, was the fact that it was the first time they actually got it right as the practice runs had been riddled with errors.
With 9 months to go until the next series I can't wait. Maybe we should now start another thread to give tot he BBC as to who to approach for it?
