Even with the numerous in car media option there are today, CD, DAB, SD card, streaming etc, I do still like to listen to good old BBC radio. Quite often I'm tuned into BBC2 or BBC4, some great programming on both of these channels.

That is until I hear the dreary condescending and preaching sounds of a religious type spouting their misguided views onto me. mad To the fair the BBC live up to their reputation and have a wide and diverse pool from various religions but cripes does it annoy me. Each to their own perversion should really not be broadcast of state media. It's an instant switch off for me, I can't hit that button quick enough to change over. I simply don't think it has a place on the BBC. I've no problem with them having thier own station miles away from everybody else but why ye gods do you have to drop it into the middle of a good mornings programming?

Just me or does anybody else find it infuriating?

The Radio 4 slot is not called "Prayer for the Day", is it. It's called "Thought For the Day".

Regardless, it's somebody that believes in magical things being given a pedestal on mainstream media.

I look forward to IS getting a slot. All as bad as each other.

It's easy to let things slide and just ignore stuff for fear of challenging. I can only hope someone senior in the BBC eventually sees sense and get's this type of rubbish off the air.
