Returns tonight. Jezza presenting. Suspect he is going to get a lot of grief from Hislop and Merton.

Can see Ian Hislop getting heated and then saying better not argue or he will be punched.

Should be good.

How good HIGNFY largely depends on who else is on. Sometimes you get people who set the others off and even if they are not funny themselves the way Merton and Hislop go for them is. Best example of that is Merton vs Kilroy-Silk.

Very odd. Some Richard Osmans digs at JC were very personal it seemed like. I wonder if RO has some kind of personal dislike of Clarkson and decided to go for him.

I also wonder if RO and Camilla Long had decided to try and wind him up so they could get some punching jokes in. Broadly though Hislop left him alone.

They seem to be adopting a format of 1 comedy person and 1 politician each week. Not sure that really works, the odd politician is amusing, Boris is great for a laugh and William Rees Mogg is very funny but most are dull as st.

Hope this doesn't continue.

He has been slightly less funny since his death 3 years ago smile

I believe you are thinking of Jacob.
Oh yeah. Stupid boy 944.

He is funny though.

Last few episodes have been a little lackluster.

Tonight's should be good though. Victoria Coren-Mitchel presenting, Hal Cruttenden and Jacob Rees-Mogg as the panelists.

Looking forward to it.
