Did anyone see the new Craig Cash comedy tonight, 10pm on Sky One?

Mixed feelings for me. A bit of a slow start to be honest and it's a bit like Early Doors in how it's written (not surprising as Cash wrote both) but I feel it could get a lot better yet.

I bloody love Early Doors. Rovers will have to get a lot better to match it.
Me too. After watching Rovers the other night, I watched three episodes of the Series Two of Early Doors and it was even better than I remembered. One of the most brilliant comedies I've ever seen.

I enjoyed and laughed out loud a few times.

However it's not written by Craig Cash.

It's Joe Wilkinson and David Earls.
Good point, thanks. Craig Cash directed it, I think.

Funny thing happened last week. I am a member of a Facebook group that concentrates on non-league football and a thread started recently about "Rovers". It wasn't very complimentary, saying that it was denigrating the non-league game, was pathetic etc and not very well researched. There was a mixed bag of feedback generally and then out of nowhere, Joe Wilkinson started answering questions.

One guy asked him a question, clearly wasn't satisfied with Joe's response and asked him if he'd actually seen it... rofl ... flip side is that not only did Joe and David Earl write the series, they also star in it. They're the two guys often giving Pete Mott ("Meat Pot, just switch the letters around, it's great fun!") stick and seen near the fruit machine.
