I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! 2016
Discussion
Trash TV at its best/worst. Gotta say I love it.
Seems a decent list of people on it this year, no old battle-axes so I'm guessing someone will be joining them.

Scarlett Moffett currently favourite to win,.
I'm looking forward to seeing how many challenges Wayne Bridge pulls out of due to injury....
Definitely some scope for Jungle shower scenes this year too...

Not really "celebs" though, are they?
I haven't heard of most of them, but maybe I'm just out of touch [sneaks off to buy OK magazine....]
I did meet Ms Vorderman last year in Bristol, and she is very good looking, although surprisingly petite in the flesh.
My Mrs loves this sort of "Council" TV which means I get to retreat to the garage in peace! Win Win
Couple of them I haven't heard of, but that's not unusual for this show. I haven't heard of most of them, but maybe I'm just out of touch [sneaks off to buy OK magazine....]

The ;level of celeb is spot on really. Any higher profile and they wont 'need' to have a good show, would probably strop off or refuse to do stuff.
The level of celeb has to be carefully aimed at 'just desperate enough' to do anything......

Kerry Katona was a prime example - spends way more money than her celeb profile allows her to earn, always going bankrupt etc. Takes the 'easy money' on offer from celeb to keep the HMRC off her back, makes a few bob and blows it all on a fancy car for the next father of her next kid....
The other side of the coin is what happened to Mylene Class. Her career was in the toilet, went on Celeb and it hiked her profile right up, saved her career, and probably returned millions in extra earnings. Everyone is going to dream of having her result.

The younger generation are used to gadgets. Give them a real man's toy like an Aldis Lamp and they haven't a clue. Clearly they would be unable to recite Wuthering Heights in semaphore.
My 17 year old daughter has never used semaphore and she had a fit of laughter a these two idiots as soon as they came up with their plan for 'two flashes' for a dot. She wasn't even in the girl guides/scouts either.....And they aren't kids, Wayne Bridge is in his late 30's ffs.

I felt sorry for Joel Dummett - he seems a sensible and likeable bloke. He had to interpret the useless lamp signals from two retards, all the time enduring the 8-year old girl screams from Adam. Little wonder the info passed on to base camp was so garbled.

So Scarlett has had some work done then, thought she looked "different"? How disappointing for such a young girl (whose fame doesn't even depend on her looks). Puts me right off her.
Mind you the same with Vorderman but at least she was trying to defy gravity. Just don't understand why do they do it? They look deformed plus show themselves up as insufferably vain.
Has anyone ever looked better after this stuff?
Scarlett has a serious condition that affects her face. Bells palsy. Mind you the same with Vorderman but at least she was trying to defy gravity. Just don't understand why do they do it? They look deformed plus show themselves up as insufferably vain.

Lisa is 43 guys. Look around at other women her age ffs. If your misses is that in shape as a 43 year old, good for you.
Don't get me wrong, she's perfectly lovely, just not strikingly beautiful ex model attractive is all. Another way of putting it, would you stop and look at her in the street? Probably not.Doesn't always work though...

I cant believe that people think it amazing that Lisa knows and is friends with Matt Damon.
Matt and George are long term friends, and Lisa went out with George for like years and years. Of course they are friends.
She was an FHM model. Why would they expect her to be mixing in Hollywood A-lister circles? Matt and George are long term friends, and Lisa went out with George for like years and years. Of course they are friends.
They probably didn't know she went out with "George" (as you call him ). I had no idea.
She seemed nice enough but didn't really have the charisma to provide much entertainment among such an entertaining bunch, so it's not a great loss to the show to be honest.
Agreed, she didn't do enough on the show. Shame she could have made more of herself.
