Takes me back to dinner time on a Saturday night when I was in my formative years.

Strangely compelling viewing!

Wasn't it on a Sunday night?
Definitely.

I remember this because I was young, and bullseye meant it was nearly time to have a bath and get ready for bed. I'd be sad because it signalled the end of the weekend and school in the morning!
Obviously mis-remembering. It was around dinner time, though, wasn't it? I'm sure I recall watching it in our kitchen on a black and white set.

Bowen looked old when the show started, but was only 45.

Always entertaining when a coal miner from Doncaster got 'Spelling'.

Should have bought Jim back.
He's had a number of strokes, so walking and talking has been a real challenge for him in recent years.

That's brilliant!

My dad always used to wonder why people didn't aim for that corner - OK, so you can't get the treble 20, but the numbers surrounding 19 are higher scoring than those around the 20.

Blimey!

I like one of the comments below the video.

Keep out of the black and into the red, nothing in this game for 2 shots in the head.

Did anyone actually win the car?

I've been watching loads of these - seen a lot of caravans won, but the 'let's see what you could have won' is always a Fiesta, Metro or Pug 205.

A canteen of cutlery must surely be the sttest sounding prize of all time.
I'd say that's better than the Directors' chairs, which seemed to frequently appear.

Last night's had the ultimate in working class bling - his & hers gold rope neck chains.
