Bits of films that make no sense

Watched Iron Man 2 the other night. Surely a major plot point of the films is that the suits are powered by the arc reactor in his chest (see the first Iron Man film where he has to use the old reactor and runs out of power)?

So what the hell is powering the suit Rhody takes?
