Are they both complete and binge-ready now?
I'm not going to subscribe, as we've already got more on-demand options than we can watch, but I thought I'd take advantage of the free month to watch these two.
Yes and there’s another one called see which is quite good in a sort of madmax for blind people way.I'm not going to subscribe, as we've already got more on-demand options than we can watch, but I thought I'd take advantage of the free month to watch these two.

Totally agree that the number of available shows is pitifully low. However, I've signed up for a single month and will easily get through everything that interests me (about 4 or 5 shows) which actually feels like pretty good value for just £4.99. In a few months time, when they've added some more decent shows, I'll sign up for another month.
The quality of what I've seen so far seems very high.
Netflix costs me £11.99 a month (for the 4k variant) and is 80% guff with an occasional gem to keep me interested (and subscribed!)
Yes, I think apple are going for quality rather than quantity. Yes Netflix has far more, but they have been operating for far longer and is full of rubbish, with some excellent shows thrown into the mix. The quality of what I've seen so far seems very high.

I have high hopes for Apple TV in the longer term.

For All Mankind - wow wow wow. I was lucky enough that I could binge season 1 and half of season 2 before catching up with the latest episodes released weekly. The 75 minute finale of season 2 that was released yesterday is an absolute masterpiece. The people working on it should be extremely proud of what they’ve produced. And the teaser for season 3 at the end had my jaw on the floor.
So S2 has finished. Great, I've been holding off so I can binge watch. That's my evenings for the next week sorted. maccas99 said:

and a great teaser for S3
(and music score is great too)

Spirited looks like a bit of fun, I'll be watching that.
I have started Shantaram which is a ok watch so far, just easy to watch, but little story to follow, will do the 3rd tonight.
I absolutely loved the book. It’s one of my all time favourite. I know the TV series isn’t going to be as good but I’m looking forward to watching this once all the episodes are available.
