"A teenager has had emergency surgery to remove her stomach after drinking a cocktail containing liquid nitrogen

The 18-year-old is reported to have become breathless and developed severe stomach pain before being taken to Royal Lancaster Infirmary.

Officers say she would have died if doctors had not performed the operation."

Who knows? It was probably a lad on bugger all wages working part-time in a Student bar not a chemist

I take it using LN in drinks doesn't fall under any of the the many Health and safety laws or Food standards.

I find it strange that any bar in the land can sell this.

It was her 18th, in a bar on a high street. She wasn't picking random mushrooms in the forest. It is more food poisoning IM(h)O.

Knowing them, it will probably be complete lies, would explain how this happened. Poor girl.

The drink was a "nitro jagermeister" - Knowing how students/snowboarders drink/shoot jagermeister, I'd say the daily fail have got lucky on this one, they are probably right!
