Nigella does have a following amongst males "of a certain age", many of whom frequent internet fora such as PH.
I could well imagine a whole phalanx of angry PHers rushing en masse to the defence of this "fair damsel in distress" crying "Hands off our Nigella".
I would be in that phalanx.I could well imagine a whole phalanx of angry PHers rushing en masse to the defence of this "fair damsel in distress" crying "Hands off our Nigella".

It's a slap or a grab outdoors, but indoors, who knows?
Obviously Saatchi has made himself look a complete pig but we simply don't know what, if anything else, may have taken place elsewhere. We can't "assume the worst". Pretty horrific domestic abuse / murder here:

Would be interested in WeirdNeville's take on the policing that firstly failed to prevent it (bad), but secondly punished the offenders (good). Best discussed in the other thread though.

He probably doesn't, but it makes him look a right idiot, he is after all PM of this country, not a dim celeb on facebook.
It's well-known you don't make comment while a court case is ongoing.
Hasn't stopped any of us, and he was not commenting on the court case anyway. Are you saying the BBC should stop showing her TV shows until after the court case in case anyone sees them? It's well-known you don't make comment while a court case is ongoing.

They don't like you to use it for nipping in and out frequently and she's also been working here on an ABC programme without a work Visa. It may be that she was refused entry for that rather than the drug confession.
That reminds me of the scene in the Ginger Baker film where someone he employed for his Polo team/operation was having life made difficult by someone playing technicalities on some immigration issue.I nip in and out using my ESTA all the time for work meetings and they are fine about it.
